After the celebrant-led funeral for my wonderful Dad in late 2004, I wanted to become a celebrant but recognised I was too immersed in my own grief for some time. Eventually finding the right course for me, I trained with the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants.
Every family deserves the best that I can give; that they trust me at such a difficult time is a real privilege and one that can never be taken for granted.
I am a mother of three, brought up in London and lived in the north of Bristol for many years before moving to Hampshire. I was a teacher in adult education and in offender learning before becoming a celebrant, firstly working in the Bristol and Bath areas and now in Southampton and Portsmouth.
I sit with you, listen to your memories of your loved one and then draft a personal and bespoke service to email to you. You can then make any changes to ensure it is absolutely right on the day. It may be that you would like a non-religious service or one that incorporates faith elements....either way, the service will be reflective, true and absolutely individual.
